Our clinic offers many forms of care not found elsewhere. These include:

  ·       Activator Techniques® adjusting:

The Activator Method of adjusting utilizes a patented, scientifically engineered instrument to deliver a high speed, low-force thrust to correct joint and nerve dysfunction. Because the adjustment is so quick and accurate, the bodies’ reflexes do not have time to resist, resulting in little or no strain to the patient. There is no bending, twisting or “cracking” involved. The advantages of this method of treatment are enormous. Severe conditions such as herniated discs, sciatica and patients in acute pain can be treated safely and comfortably. Young children, the elderly and pregnant women respond extremely well to this technique. Using specific procedures to analyze joint and nerve dysfunction, we can determine what, where and when not to adjust. The accuracy of the instrument allows the doctor to zero in on the exact problem area without disturbing other structures.

Dr. Petry uses activator adjusting exclusively, attends conferences regularly and has passed rigorous Advanced Proficiency Examinations.

·        Therapy Options:

Therapies are used to enhance the adjustment and speed recovery. Not every patient receives therapy. For those who require it, we utilize galvanic stimulation which reduces spasm, increases circulation and speeds the recovery of damaged muscles and nerves. Intersegmental Traction is used to increase spinal mobility, reduce scar tissue and rehabilitate spinal discs. Acupuncture is used to control pain and rehabilitate damaged nerves. The need and type of therapy is determined at each visit.
Our straight forward approach to caring for you as an individual means that we treat your body according to what it needs each visit, rather than using some sort of “canned” procedures or routines.

Specialty Referrals
